ELITE SOFTWARE ANNOUNCES POWERFUL NEW LOADS IMPORT FEATURE FOR ITS DUCTSIZING PROGRAM Bryan, Texas - Elite Software has introduced a new feature for its DUCTSIZE program that allows for automatic import of data from its load calculations programs. DUCTSIZE users can now easily import Project, Client, Company and room  supply airflow data from Elite's RHVAC or CHVAC programs directly into DUCTSIZE with just a few clicks of the mouse. This new feature means that data is entered once and then readily used in DUCTSIZE. It also greatly facilitates the design of a complete duct system for a project that you have entered in RHVAC or CHVAC by using the precise runout airflows that those programs have already calculated for you. The importing is done by two new dialogs in Ductsize that are very easy to use: "Import General Project Data" and "Import Runout Name And Airflow."This new import feature promotes accuracy as it helps to eliminate errors from tedious and redundant data entry while speeding design time. Elite's DUCTSIZE Program permits quick calculation of optimal duct sizes using either the static regain, equal friction, or constant velocity method. The calculated duct sizes can be printed on a round, rectangular, and flat oval basis. Noise levels and required attenuation are printed for each runout duct. A library of fan data for noise calculations is built into the program. DUCTSIZE also works with AutoCAD and the AutoDesk S8 Building Services HVAC package to create fully sized double line and three dimensional duct drawings.
