Version 7.01.71 [11/26/2007]

1. Fixed a bug on the Air Handler Data window, where the Heat Recovery SER input for winter was read-only.

2. Added a point for the summer heat recovery ventilator condition, when applicable, to the psychrometric chart report. The new point is labeled, "HRV."

Version 7.01.69 [11/18/2007]

1. Made more changes and corrections to the gbXML import and export.

2. Fixed a problem where the Project Explorer window did not remember its previous size upon reopening.

3. Fixed a bug where progress indicator in the statusbar did not clear itself after exporting a gbXML file.

Version 7.01.66 [11/15/2007]

1. Fixed a bug in the gbXML feature, where surfaces of type "Ceiling" would not get imported into the gbXML file even though they showed up in the tree outline.

2. Added a Find button to the "Set gbXML Import Options" page of the new dialog for importing a gbXML file.

3. Made it so surfaces of type UndergroundWall can be imported from a gbXML file. They are imported as partitions.

4. Added progress bar display to the bottom of the main window during gbXML import operations.

5. Made it so after you select a gbXML filename on the new dialog for importing a gbXML file, if there are any errors or potential problems with the import a new "gbXML Import Errors" window will pop up listing the errors. You can double click on an error description in the list to highlight the appropriate node in the tree on the "Set gbXML Import Options" page of the import dialog. Also added an "Errors" button to that page of the dialog so you can reopen the error dialog if you happen to close it and need to look at it again. Error situations currently include having a space with more walls than are allowed in a single Chvac zone, and having a space with more windows and skylights than are allowed in a Chvac zone.

6. Fixed a bug in the Update Manager program, where if you clicked the menu "Help | Check for Update" from this program and there was no Internet connection, the Update Manager program would say that this program is up to date.

Version 7.01.64 [11/2/2007]

1. Fixed a bug in the newly added gbXML feature, where if the project file's Units setting was not the same as the gbXML file's setting for units for that file's results entries, the values for calculated load and airflow exported to the gbXML file were incorrect.

1. Fixed a bug that could happen upon opening a project, where if the program saw that the number indexes in the zone records needed correction (a rare problem), the program would renumber the zones in the reverse of their original order.

2. Fixed a problem where it was possible for the filename part of the footer on the reports to be so long that it overlapped the date and time part of the footer.

3. Added the ability to enter heat recovery ventilator (HRV) data in order to reduce ventilation loads for heating and cooling. The new inputs are at the bottom right of the Misc tab of the Air Handler Data window. Added a new section to the Psychrometric Analysis report whenever HRV data has been entered, which shows the leaving HRV temperature and the number of degrees of improvement from the temperature of the outside air.

4. Fixed a bug on the System Total Load Summary report when the project is in metric units, where the units for the amount of moisture in the air said, "grains" when it should have said grams of moisture per kg of dry air.

5. Added the ability to import and export gbXML files. The new menu items are: "File | New Project from gbXML File," "File | Import | From gbXML File," and "File | Export | To gbXML File."

6. Fixed a bug in the "Convert Project Units" feature, where the zone exhaust for the winter was staying at its original value instead of being converted.

7. Made it so the self-extracting EXE file that can be downloaded from our website, ch7setup.exe, runs as Administrator by default on Windows Vista.

8. Removed the "Use fast peak determination" checkbox from the General section of the Miscellaneous tab of the Properties of Print Preview window. The program now always performs the full air system calculation in order to determine the peak system time. This change eliminates a problem where, under rare circumstances, the program could fail to find the peak time for the system and would simply use the final available month and time of day. It also eliminates potential user confusion about why the Load Profile graphs or reports would be incomplete when generating reports with the "Use fast peak determination" checkbox checked.

1. Expanded the text in the dropdown help for the Units input on the General Project Data window to make it clear that changing that option does not change your input values to the other units, it only changes the way the program interprets the values you have entered. It explains that you must click the menu, "File | Convert Project Units" if you want to convert a project from one set of units to the other.

2. Fixed a bug in the Skylight object on Drawing Board, where the area of the skylight was being subtracted from the first wall's area instead of that of the roof.

1. Added the ability to set the Reference input for a glass to a partition wall.

2. Added an error message for when you have 1 entered in the Internal Shading input for a master glass and the "Internal Shading Coefficient" input is set to zero. Also made it so the error displayed for having a zero entered in the Shading Coefficient input is only shown if you have a 2, 3 or 4 entered for the Internal Shading input.

3. Fixed a bug that developed in the previous version, where the conversion of certain roof, wall and glass zone data was not being converted during the "Convert Project Units" feature.

4. Fixed a bug that would occur when you selected equipment for an air handler on the Find HVAC Equipment window when the project was set to metric units, where the capacities were not being converted to kW.

5. Added text to the dropdown help of the capacity inputs on the Equipment tab of the Air Handler Data window to indicate the proper units that the inputs hold (MBH for English projects, and kW for metric).

6. Changed the help file from WinHelp to HTML Help.

7. Took measures to enable the program to work properly on Windows Vista without having to run it as administrator.

8. Made it so you can enter numbers after the decimal point in the Square Feet Per Person input on the Design tab of the General Project Data window.

9. Fixed a bug where if you were generating reports and there were errors in the project and the Error Notification window opened and you clicked its Abort button, the Print Preview would open anyway with a blank print preview.

10. Fixed a bug on the Project Explorer window, where if you right clicked on an air handler node and clicked "Edit System" from the popup menu, the Air Handler Data window would become the active window but it would not automatically go to the right air handler number.

11. Fixed a bug on the Find HVAC Equipment window when the list was set to display air source heat pumps, where the column header for Qualifying Tier was in the wrong place.

12. Added a "Copy Multiple Zones" feature, which lets you make one or more copies of one or more zones. The Copy Multiple Zones dialog lets you select the air handler and group into which the new zones will be created, as well as the number of copies to make.

13. Fixed a bug in the import of air handlers from Energy Audit, where the heat pump 47 and 17 degree capacities and COP values would not import from projects edited in Energy Audit version 7.02.40 or higher.

14. Fixed a bug in the import of custom text blocks from the custom report from Energy Audit, where if there were existing custom text blocks in the Chvac project not all of them from the Energy Audit project would be imported.

15. Fixed a bug in the import of air handlers from Energy Audit, where the Tradename inputs in Chvac's air handlers would not be blanked out.

1. Added a partially completed feature for importing gbXML files, which will not be visible in the publicly released updates yet.

1. Eliminated a "Type Mismatch" error that could occur during calculations on certain foreign language systems.

1. Added the air handler name to the main title on the air handler pie charts. Also added the zone name for the zone pie charts.

2. Modified the master glass entries in the "Sample RTS.chv" project to be closer to the CLTD entries in that project. So now you can switch the "Cooling Calculation Method" input on the General Project Data window from RTS to CLTD and get results that are pretty close to those of the other method.

3. Updated the toolbars to a newer style with a different appearance.

4. Added the descriptions of the master materials to the General Project Data Input report. These had been in version 6 but had not yet been in version 7.

5. Fixed a bug where pressing the F2 key while the cursor was in one of the roof, wall or glass inputs would not copy the above component until you had clicked on the Edit menu at least once since opening the program.

6. Fixed a bug that developed in one of the recent versions in the feature that converts a project from English to metric units or vice-versa, where many of the records were not being changed.

7. Added a "Save Report and E-Mail" button to the Print Preview window's toolbar. Clicking this button will save the reports in the new Report Viewer File format (RVF) and attach it to a new e-mail message, where the body of the message includes a link to download the latest version of Report Viewer from the Elite Software web site.

8. Under certain circumstances, added a warning message box that is displayed when you use the built-in PDF file creation feature. The warning message box is displayed when creating a PDF file from a Drawing Board drawing. The warning explains that it is better to use PDF creation software such as the free PDF writer available from www.CutePDF.com.

9. Added new menu items under the File menu to let you e-mail your current project or one or more other project files.

Version 7.01.41 [8/16/2006]

1. Fixed a bug that developed in version 7.01.40, where if you had an air handler with zero occurrences that contained any zones with non-zero occurrences, and were generating reports that used the group calculation scenario (the (G) reports), an error would occur that made the Print Preview blank.

2. Fixed a bug on the Find HVAC Equipment window, where if the number of records to be added to the list was more than about 32,000 the program would lock up.

Version 7.01.40 [8/10/2006]

1. Fixed a bug where the sensible and latent gain per person properties on the Zone object in Drawing Board did not have dropdown help.

2. Fixed a bug where if you entered zero for the "Lighting Load to Zones (%)" input on the Plenum Data window, the program would not calculate any lighting load for the plenum or the zone, and would not report an error. Now the lowest allowed value is one percent. If you enter zero an error will be added to the Evaluation of Project and Error Notification windows. Also updated the dropdown help for this input to show that the accepted range of values is from 1 to 100.

3. Fixed a problem with a function used in the "Rebuild Project File" feature and in the conversion of version 6 project files, where if a project file had problems with its zone numbers it was possible for the program to leave certain problems uncorrected, and where it was possible for the program to lock up during the process.

4. Made it so when you first open the program it asks you whether or not you want to check for an update. Also added a new "Set Check for Update Options" menu under the Help menu. You can now select whether you want the program to ask you, to automatically check, or to not check. If you set it to automatically check, you can also set it to notify you of any updates to the HVAC equipment databases you may have installed, which are used in Elite programs such as Chvac, Energy Audit and Rhvac. Also made it so the Update Available and similar dialogs from the Update Manager program float over all other windows. This change prevents the possibility of the Update Available window being put behind the main program window where you might not notice it.

5. Fixed a bug where if the Drawing Board window had been opened and you switched to certain other windows within the program (the Print Preview window and the Project Explorer), the Drawing Board specific menus (Edit, Draw, Format, etc.) would remain visible instead of being hidden.

6. Made it so if you change the Sheet property of a Zone object or any object that is part of a Zone (a Wall, Skylight, etc.), the Sheet property for all objects within that zone will be changed as well.

7. Added another version of the Air Handler Summary Loads report that is included when you select the "Air Handler (G)" checkbox in the Load Summaries section of the Properties of Print Preview dialog. This new version of the report shows the zone level loads and supply airflow values that occur with the (G) calculation scenario (when groups rather than zones are treated as individual spaces). The old (G) report is now titled "...Summary Loads for Groups (G)," while the new report is titled, "...Summary Loads for Zones (G)."

8. On the Drawing Board window, made it so the Chvac 7 Drawing Objects catalog appears first in the list of available catalogs in the Catalog Browser, and the Ductsize Drawing Objects appears second. Also made it so various other catalogs that are not for use within Chvac (such as the one for Rhvac) do not get loaded.

9. Added the ability to save the Drawing Board drawing data within the Chvac project file, rather than as a separate file. You can convert a project from the two file system to saving internally or vice-versa by clicking the Change button on the Check Drawing File Link dialog.

10. Added several special property categories for the Zone object in Drawing Board, which makes it easier to find the property you want to set.

11. Modified some things about the Print Preview window, including adding the ability to save and open Report Viewer 2 reports (in RVF format), adding a better report e-mail feature that includes a link to download Report Viewer in the body of the message, adding more zoom options, and adding a better looking toolbar.

12. Added a "License Info" menu item to the About box, which opens a window that explains the program's license agreement.

13. Fixed a bug where clicking the "Preview Custom Report" button on the Custom Report window did not work.

14. Fixed a bug where if you selected system heating or cooling equipment on the Find HVAC Equipment window, the cooling and heating capacity MBH values would be rounded to the nearest MBH. For example a unit with a capacity of 17,500 Btuh would show up on the System Data window as having a capacity of 17 instead of 17.5 MBH.

15. Fixed a bug where the progress bar was not being shown in the main window's statusbar during certain potentially long operations such as searching for models on the Find HVAC Equipment window.

16. Made it so the setup no longer prompts for the program destination folder during update installations, and never prompts for the Common and U-Factor Calculator folders.

17. Fixed a problem where it was possible for a few of the Open and Save dialogs throughout the program to be moved behind the main window under certain circumstances (such as switching back to Chvac from another program using the Windows taskbar), essentially locking up the program.

Version 7.01.37 [10/17/2005]

1. Fixed a bug that made it so if you had the Drawing Board window open and another window was in front of it and you clicked the Drawing Board toolbar button or menu item it would not bring the Drawing Board window to the front.

2. Added a "Duplicate Zone" command to the Special Commands of the Zone object in Drawing Board. Right click on a Zone object on the drawing, then click "Duplicate Zone" to create a new zone that has all the same walls, windows, doors, etc., as the selected zone. The upper left corner of the new zone will be at the point where the mousepointer was when you right clicked.

1. Made it so you can enter a number with decimal places into the Floor Slab Perimeter property of the Zone object in Drawing Board.

2. Fixed a bug in the rarely used "Import from Audit" feature, where equipment capacities imported from Audit were not being multiplied by 0.001 to get the MBH values that Chvac uses.

3. Modified the Import from Audit feature to be able to import from Audit 7.02 project files.

Version 7.01.34 [7/25/2005]

1. Fixed a problem where you could not enter a number with decimal places into the capacity inputs on the Equipment tab of the Air Handler Data window. This was a problem because all the capacities are in MBH and a whole number is sometimes not adequate.

2. Fixed a bug in the recently added summer indoor wet bulb temperature exported to the ASCII txt output file. One of the parameters in the formula used to calculate this value used the wrong units and made the result slightly off. This bug only affected this one new column in the ASCII txt output file.

3. Fixed a problem with the display of some of the program's child windows, where if the current child window was maximized and you opened another window (such as Master Data) the newly opened window would open up not maximized. Now these windows follow the default operating system behavior, where a new child window will open in the same state as the current one.

Version 7.01.33 [6/23/2005]

1. Fixed a bug where if you entered -1 for a safety factor on the Air Handler Data window to force it to zero, it had the same effect as entering a zero, which meant that the value on the General Project Data would be used for zones under that air handler. This problem applied to all three types of safety factors.

2. Made the Object Properties window in Drawing Board into a docked window. Also made the Catalog Browser into a docked window. These two windows can now be either floating or docked to the left or right side of the Drawing Board window.

3. Added a blue strip with the text, "Drawing Board" to the left side of the pulldown menu items that get inserted into the main window whenever the Drawing Board window is active.

4. Added a "Drawing Board Tools" menu to the menu items that get inserted into the main window whenever the Drawing Board window is active.

5. Fixed a bug in the ChvDraw7.ocx component that made it so for a metric project dimension values taken from the drawing were incorrectly written to the project file as being in English units.

6. Made it so the version record in the project file is updated with the current version of the program anytime you open a project. Formerly the version was only written when the project file had to be updated due to changes in the format.

7. Added "Project Address," "Project City, State and ZIP" and "Delivery Date of Units" inputs to the General Project Data window and added these to the ASCII txt output file and the General Project Data input report. Also added "Summer Indoor Wet Bulb" and "Heating Model Type" (both system level values) to the txt file.

8. Made some changes to the reports for when the Heating Only option is selected, including removing places that showed the cooling peak time and month.

9. Fixed a bug where changes you made to schedule values or the description on the Duct Schedule Database window were not being saved.

10. On 7/1/2005, updated the setup to include the file ActBar.ocx, which had been missing from the setup for this update. This problem could affect first time installations.

Version 7.01.32 [4/11/2005]

1. Added a warning to the Evaluation of Project window when the "Occurrences of this Air Handler" input is zero for all air handlers.

2. Added a line to the Check Figures section on the reports that shows the heating Btuh per square foot.

3. Fixed a bug where the partition area, loss, and gain were all zero (or otherwise incorrect) on the row that shows the system level in the ASCII output spreadsheet file.

4. Fixed a bug on the Air Handler Data window, where the state of the "Zone Exhaust May Not Exceed Supply" checkbox being checked or not was not being saved with the air handler data.

5. Made it so if you do not have a default printer installed and you try to open the Drawing Board window, a message box will tell you to install a default printer. Formerly, the program would just lock up.

Version 7.01.30 [12/21/2004]

1. Decreased the minimum allowed outdoor winter temperature from -50 to -99 degrees.

2. For Drawing Board, made it so when you export a wmf or other file through the "File | Export | From Drawing" feature, only the visible parts of the drawing are exported.

3. Added a tooltip to the Object Properties window in Drawing Board that lets you see the entire property value when the text width is wider than the space available.

4. Added an "HVAC Equipment Databases" tab to the Elite Software Update Manager program, which lets you see if any of the equipment database files in your Elite\Common folder are out of date and need to be updated. Also added a menu item in Chvac's help menu to open the Update Manager with the new tab selected. Also added a way to open it from the Find HVAC Equipment window's dropdown help for its Filename input.

5. Fixed a bug in Drawing Board where changing the Roof Type property for the Zone object to an undefined master roof type did not automatically open the Define Master Roof dialog.

6. Fixed a bug where the U-Factor Calculator would not open when you clicked the item in the dropdown help for the U-Factor input on the "Define Master Roof (Wall, Partition)" dialog.

1. Fixed a bug on the Detailed Zone Loads report when using the RTS method, where the sensible loss for glass was incorrect. This bug only affected the rows for individual glass items on this one report and not any of the totals in the calculations.

Version 7.01.24 [10/21/2004]

1. Fixed a problem that would happen on Korean or other Double Byte Character Set versions of Windows, where the error log files would not be read properly and could make it so the Evaluation of Project window either would not show up or would show up and say "No errors were found" even though the current project had errors.

2. Fixed a bug that made it so the program could lock up or show a "Select Data Source" dialog after executing Drawing Board's Undo feature.

Version 7.01.21 [10/15/2004]

1. Increased the maximum allowable number for the Group input on the Zone Data window from 10 to 1000.

2. Fixed a bug on the General Project Data window, where it was possible to enter a -1 in the Operating Profiles inputs. On the Air Handler Data and Zone Data windows, a -1 can be appropriate to override whatever value was entered elsewhere, but on the General Project Data window the minimum valid number is zero.

3. Fixed a bug on the Plenum Data window, where every time you clicked on the plenum number input the dropdown list of air handlers would add an additional 100 items to the list.

4. Added a message to the "Evaluation of Project" and "Error Notification" windows whenever you have set the ventilation option for a zone to something other than "default to air handler" and the ventilation option for that zone's air handler is set to "100% of supply." The warning tells you that the program will override the zone's ventilation option in this case. Also added some text to the dropdown help for the ventilation option inputs on the Zone Data window to let you know about this behavior.

Version 7.01.19 [9/30/2004]

1. Fixed a bug in the Building Envelope report, where plenum wall and glass items were not being included in the bottom section of the report that shows the wall and glass data in each of the eight main compass point directions. Also fixed another bug in the bottom section of that report where the glass shading coefficient was not being correctly determined when using the RTS method.

Version 7.01.18 [7/22/2004]

1. Added an "Elite Software Update Manager" feature to automatically check to see if an update is available when the program is first opened. Also added a menu item under the Help menu called, "Check for Updates," which lets you open this new program, named EliteUpd.exe. This program lets you check the current status of your Elite Software programs to see whether or not any of them need to be updated.

2. Fixed a problem where the Print Preview would go back to page 1 after you clicked the Refresh Reports button in its toolbar. Now it stays on the same page.

3. Included new versions of the components that are used to generate the print preview and create a PDF file from it.

Version 7.01.16 [5/27/2004]

1. Fixed a bug where a shading device would be ignored unless an overhang projection was entered (i.e., it could not consist only of fins).

2. Modified the text in the Chvac Help window (the one that shows up when you press F1) as well as the dropdown help for the master data shading device inputs to explain that "right" and "left" for shading devices are assumed from the perspective of looking at the window from the outside. Also included pictures in the help file to help illustrate which dimensions are required of the various shading device inputs.

3. Fixed a bug where the F1 help was not going to the specific topic when you pressed F1 while on the Partitions tab or the Shading tab on the Master Data window.

1. Fixed a problem where the text in the dropdown help for the glass summer and winter u-factor inputs needed to be set to a fixed font in a few more places in order to make the Adjustment Multipliers table line up properly.

2. Added the ballast multiplier table to the dropdown help for the lighting and equipment watts inputs.

3. Fixed a bug where the dropdown help on the "Select Roof - CLTD Method" and the "Select Wall - CLTD Method" would still show the English units values when the project was set to metric units.

4. Fixed a bug where it was possible to type in more than one character in the CLTD wall ASHRAE group and wall color inputs on the Master Data window.

5. Made it so some of the windows with multiple rows of data open faster.

1. Made it so the first roof length and width do not automatically track with the zone length and width as you type unless the roof type is greater than zero.

2. Fixed a bug on the Zone Data window where the gray boxes that show the default profiles for people and lighting were swapped.

3. Fixed a bug on the importing of operating profiles on the Import From Chvac dialog, where only the first of the ten profiles would get imported. Fixed a similar bug on the same dialog when importing master data, where only the first roof, wall, etc. would get imported.

4. Made it so various default labels on the Zone Data, Air Handler Data and Plenum Data windows are immediately updated as you type in data on another window.

Version 7.01.9 [4/23/2004]

1. Fixed various bugs that could happen if you clicked the dropdown help button beside the zone number input on the Zone Data window. The final zone in the list could be replaced with data from another zone, etc.. Also fixed a problem where if you pasted a zone into the current zone the new zone name would not immediately show up in the list if you immediately clicked the zone number dropdown help button.

2. Fixed a problem in the installation for version 7.01.8 from a few days ago where a file needed in order to show the New Drawing dialog was not included. This file, Vsview.ocx, had previously been left out of the setup for version 7.01.8 but had been in previous versions.

1. Fixed a bug where it was possible to change the value of read-only properties on the Object Properties window of Drawing Board.

2. Added "Two Page" and "Thumbnails" buttons to the Print Preview window's toolbar to let you see two pages at once, or as many 1" thumbnails of the preview pages as will fit in the window. Also added items for these new buttons to the dropdown help for the Zoom text input on this window.

3. Fixed a bug where if you had the Zone Data window open while you rotated zones using the Rotate Zones & Plenums dialog, the current zone on the Zone Data window would not get rotated.

4. Fixed a bug where the "Minimum Supply Flow Option" property for the Zone object on Drawing Board was being saved with the wrong index, so that the method you chose would be off by one. Also fixed a bug where the "Minimum Supply Flow Value" was not being saved to the project file at all.

5. Fixed a bug where a Drawing Board project done in Chvac version 6 would not get converted to version 7 correctly on a DBCS version of Windows such as a Korean or Japanese version.

6. Fixed a bug where the "Print Selected Pages" dialog would not display its information correctly on a DBCS version of Windows such as a Korean or Japanese version.

7. Fixed a bug where it was possible for roof, wall and glass data for the zones and plenums to not be included when the program opened and converted a version 6 project file.

8. Added a button to the Print Preview window's toolbar that lets you save the document as a PDF file.

9. Added the ability to zoom, scroll and navigate the print preview with the mouse wheel. Rolling the mouse wheel scrolls the report up or down. If you use the mouse wheel to scroll to the top or bottom of the page and keep rolling, the preview will go to the previous or next page. Holding down the Shift key and rolling the mouse wheel navigates to the previous or next page. Holding down the Ctrl key while rolling the mouse wheel zooms in or out.

Version 7.01.7 [3/9/2004]

1. Made it so the program will run properly on foreign versions of Windows that use the Double Byte Character Set, such as Korean, Chinese and Japanese versions.

2. Fixed a bug where the U-Factor Calculator program would allow only one character to by typed into the component name input. Also updated it to show a better image on the dropdown help button under Windows 2000 and XP.

Version 7.01.4 [3/3/2004]

1. Fixed a bug where if you entered a CTS type for a master wall that was above 24 an error would be shown in the Evaluation of Project window explaining that the wall would be ignored. Now it allows the CTS type for master walls to be up to 35.

2. Fixed a bug on the "Define Master Wall" (or Roof or Glass) dialog that appears when you type an invalid wall master type into the Zone Data window, where it was possible for the description to be blanked out.

1. Fixed a bug on the Zone Data window, where if you typed a number into the Zone Number input ("No.") and pressed Enter, the "Press Enter to Find" tooltip would remain visible and the zone number would not change.

2. Made it so if you enter a leaving heating coil CFM lower than the minimum allowed value the program will default to using the minimum and will report the change as it normally does on the Evaluation of Project window or the Error Notification window. Formerly, the when the program encountered a heating CFM value below the minimum allowed value the calculations would switch to treating the CFM you entered as a leaving heating coil temperature, with no indication of that change being reported in the Evaluation of Project window or Error Notification window (but the reports did clearly show the actual leaving heating coil temperature and heating supply CFM values used in the calculations). Also lowered the minimum allowed heating supply CFM from 201 to 50.

1. Fixed a bug on the Background tab of the Chvac Options dialog where the part of the monitor picture that represents the background would not be the right size and position when the Windows display DPI setting was set to a value different from the normal default (or, under some versions of Windows, when the Large Fonts settings was used).

2. Fixed bugs on the Select Drapery Category and Select Fabric Designator dialogs, where if your DPI setting (or Font Size setting, depending on your version of Windows) for the Display Properties in Windows was set to something other than the "Normal size" default, there were display problems that made it hard to select what you wanted because the various images were shifted away from where they were supposed to be.

3. Fixed a bug that made it possible to have data showing from the previous project on some of the windows when opening a different project after having a Drawing Board mode project open.

4. Made it so if the longitude is zero while using the RTS method, it will be set to a default value of -90 (central United States). Also made it so if the local standard meridian is set to zero and the longitude is not near zero while using the RTS method it will be set to the standard meridian value that is nearest the current longitude value.

5. Changed the circumstances under which the default page header background color will be used on the reports in place of the one the user selected.

1. Fixed a bug where if you had the Master Data window open and changed a master wall or master shading device input, it was possible for the changes you made to not immediately show up in the list of data in the dropdown help windows for the Wall Type and Shade inputs on the Zone Data window.

1. Added a Folders tab to the Options dialog, which lets you specify the locations of the Favorites, Recent and Custom database files. The folder must exist before you specify a new location. When you change one of these to a different folder and click OK or Apply, the program copies that database file to the new folder unless a file with the same name already exists there.

2. Added a shortcut key (underlined character) to each of the buttons on the various Organize Favorites (or Custom or Recent) dialogs. This change makes it so you can quickly move an item to the top of the list by holding down Alt+U, or to the bottom of the list by holding down Alt+D.

3. Added a Save Reminder feature, which lets you specify how often you want to be reminded to save your work.

10. Made it so the "Rebuild Project File" feature (click the menu "Tools | Repair Files | Rebuild Project File") renumbers zone and custom text block records if necessary. Also made it so these same numbers are corrected if needed when you open a Chvac version 6 project file.

11. Fixed a bug that made it so if you changed the checkboxes on the included systems list on the Custom Report window, your changes would not be saved correctly.
