The Elite Software Windows based Rhvac program for ACCA Manual J, D, and S HVAC calculations is Elite's best selling program. It is constantly being updated, most often with free downloadable updates such as the version 10.01.39 being announced in this newsletter.

This Rhvac 10 update, available as a free download to current Rhvac 10 users, updates the Energy Star National HVAC Design report to the latest Revision 13. See an example of that report here.

The National HVAC Design Report is a checklist that HVAC designers complete for each system design of a house plan. The purpose of the report is to document the design information required by ANSI / RESNET / ACCA 310, a standard for grading the installation of HVAC systems. The report is often provided to a Rater, who then conducts a design review and fills out a checklist to verify that the home design meets the HERS Target. You can read more about it here.

Those of you who have to provide the National HVAC Design Report know that it is quite involved to create one from scratch. And thus it is a great benefit that Rhvac 10 can create this report based on the data entered to create a Manual J report. Being able to create the latest Rev. 13 of the National HVAC Design Report is yet another reason that Rhvac 9 users should upgrade to Rhvac 10.
