9/14/2026 Version 7.2.19

1. Added a feature that requires you to register Fire in order for it to run at the active level. And every time you open this version of Fire you will need to be connected to the internet in order for the program to run at the active level.
   
   Also remember that with the Elite Software license agreement, you may register Fire to run on up to 3 computers per license that you have purchased, but the program can only be open at the same time on only one computer per license.

2. Replaced both versions of the the Fire Pump Database window with new windows, which are now named, "Project Fire Pump Data" and "Fire Pump Database." Added the fire pump curve graph to both windows, and made several other changes to make these windows easier to use. Made it so you can optionally specify the units for flow and pressure for any pump in the database and for any project, or set their units to "Default" to let their units change based on the current project's IP or SI units setting, as in previous versions. Also made the window display a warning if your flow and pressure values generate no errors, but are not realistic. Warnings are given when a pressure value does not drop when flow increases, or when the slopes of the lines between data points do not become more steep as flow increases, or when you have a positive value entered for flow with a zero pressure value.

3. Changed the example fire pumps included in the fire pump database to be more realistic. Also removed the option in the setup to overwrite the fire pump database file, and instead made it so after you install this update, when you next open the Fire program it will ask you whether you want to merge the new fire pump data into your existing database.

4. Fixed a bug that could happen if the parent Elite Software folder for project files from your initial installation no longer existed and could not be recreated, the program would not show up except in the Background Processes list in Task Manager. Now if that ever happens, the program will show you a window that suggests a new parent Elite Software projects folder location and that lets you change it to whatever you want.

5. Change the names of some of the windows to be more concise, and also changed the text of some menu items and toolbar buttons. Changes include the following: "Enter/Edit Pipe Data" changed to "Pipe Data;" "Enter/Edit Pipe Library Data" changed to "Pipe Database;" "Edit Fire Pump Database" button and menu item changed to "Fire Pump Database;" "Enter/Edit Node Data" changed to "Node Data." Updated the Fire 7 Help window to include these changes.

6. Prevented some errors (mostly error numbers 91 and 340) that could happen under some circumstances while the Pipe Data window was open.

7. Fixed a bug where clicking the menu "File | Close Project" or clicking the Close Project button could cause the Pipe Data window to improperly remain open.

8. Increased the maximum allowable K-factor that you can enter from 326 to 99999.

9. Fixed a bug on some systems where clicking the menu "Help | Readme" could display an error message box rather than opening the Fire 7 Readme.doc file.

1. Fixed a bug where if you were using SI units, the exterior hose flow in the reports would always be zero.
